Day 1, Wednesday 1 August:
14:00- 16:00 Orientation of SPMM2018 at G301, Building G, Faculty of Science NWU.
All participants should participate in this orientation. Program contents, instruction and access to computer facilities will be explained.
Day 2, Thursday 2 August:
9:00- 12:00 Lecture at G302. Population biology and dynamical systems in continuous and discrete time. Non-spatial dynamics of single and multiple species.
13:00- 16:00 Exercises on numerical simulations at G301
Day 3, Friday 3 August:
9:00- 12:00 Lecture at G301. Models of spatial population dynamics. Reaction diffusion models, integral models, and lattice models, etc.
13:00- 16:00 Exercises on numerical analysis of PDE at G301
Day 4, Saturday 4 August:
9:00- 16:00 Socialization with NWU students in and around Nara
Day 5, Sunday 5 August:

9:00- 12:00 Lecture at G301. Stochastic population dynamics as stochastic processes. Generation of randum numbers and its application to simulate stochastic processes such as birth and death process.

Day 7, Tuesday 7 August:
9:00- 12:00 Lecture at G301. Stochastic population dynamics as stochastic processes.

9:00- 12:00 Preparation of final presentation at G301. Participants are requested to work on a (simple) project in which a mathematical model is constructed and anlayzed.
